The Advantages of Working with a NARA Member Are Many

By Devri Pitts, Independent Association Director, NARA

Buying and selling a business aircraft is often a complicated procedure. It is difficult to confidently assess an aircraft’s true value and technical worth because there are so many configuration, use and maintenance variations. That is why those looking to purchase a pre-owned business aircraft are wise to obtain the assistance of a seasoned, well-informed advisor. And those looking for seasoned, well-informed advisors can start, and end, their search with the members of the National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA).

NARA is the premier organization of turbine aircraft brokers, dealers and support service providers. The association has 77 member companies that represent every phase of aircraft acquisition and ownership. Even more importantly, members are pledged to the industry’s most stringent ethical guidelines. NARA members uphold a strict 14-point Code of Ethics when they conduct their business and are deeply committed to the welfare of the pre-owned aircraft industry and the ongoing success of their clients.

As NARA’s Independent Association Director, I work with members of these companies on a daily basis and see that they operate with a high level of professionalism and confidence when buying, selling and utilizing their aircraft.  They help identify, evaluate and select the aircraft that will best meet the mission requirements and personal preferences of their clients. They are industry leaders in their own right and, as NARA members, they benefit from the association’s ongoing professional development and education, its relationship building and collaboration, its unparalleled industry standards and its monitoring of the marketplace trends.

I am proud to work with so many wonderful people who represent excellent companies and work together to assist their clients not only in the sale and purchase of an aircraft but also in a multitude of advisory and aircraft support and ownership issues.
