September 25, 2014 -- The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) has been selected to present a panel discussion at the upcoming National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition event to be held in Orlando, Florida on October 21-23, 2014.
NARA will have Dealer/Broker representatives, as well as Products and Services members, participate in the NBAA session titled, Current Trends Impacting Business Aircraft Sales. This Aviation Management and Aircraft Ownership educational track session will be held on October 22nd at 3:00 PM in room S320E.
During the interactive panel discussion, NARA’s aviation experts will discuss current trends and recent changes affecting new and used aircraft sales. Specifically, the panelists will examine the following areas:
Technology changes – from new engines to advanced avionics to passenger cabin communication systems, how have such advancements affected used aircraft marketability?
Economic – how are used aircraft values trending and what should buyers and sellers note with respect to near-term transactions?
Financing – how is available financing impacting sales transactions?
Regulatory – what buyers and sellers should note with respect to current, proposed, and likely regulatory changes?
The 1.5 hour session will be moderated by Brad Harris, Chairman of NARA and President of Dallas Jet International. NARA panelists include Ed Kammerer with Hinckley Allen; Louis Seno, with JSSI and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; Chad Anderson with Jetcraft Corporation; Nick Cerretani with Cerretani Aviation Group; and Mike Kahmann from CIT Business Aircraft Finance.
NARA members will also showcase their aircraft for sale at this year’s NBAA convention with the largest reserved aircraft static display at the Orlando Executive Airport, encompassing more than 110,000 square feet.
