January 24, 2018 -- The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) Board of Directors have unanimously agreed to endorse the recent guidance statement issued by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) regarding Ethical Business Aviation Transactions.
At its recently held strategic planning meeting, NARA leaders agreed with the NBAA statement issued in December, and further support this direction with its NARA Code of Ethics that each NARA member must follow when conducting business.
NARA Chairman, Brian Proctor commented, “Since its inception in 1990,NARA and its members have been committed to a strong Code of Ethics and continue to raise the bar for our profession. We commend NBAA for developing these guidelines and strongly endorse this statement. The business aviation industry will continue to benefit from this display of leadership and we are excited to see that these new guidelines complement our work of 28 years.”
All 102 NARA members follow a strict NARA Code of Ethics, and the Broker/Dealer members must pass a rigorous certification process to assure the highest standards when buying and selling previously owned aircraft. Ultimately, they are recognized as NARA Certified Aircraft Brokers and Dealers. NARA Products and Services Members represent a variety of aviation services that operate with the highest professional standards in the industry.
