National Aircraft Resale Association Members Head to Geneva for EBACE

May 23, 2018 - Demonstrating the global reach of the National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA), the organization's members plan a large presence at the 2018 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition.

Nearly 25 member organizations will exhibit at the event May 29-31 in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, more than 60 representatives from NARA companies will be in attendance at the premier business aviation event in Europe.

"This huge turnout of business aircraft expertise to Europe reflects the heated markets we are experiencing across the globe and especially here in the United States," said NARA Chairman Brian Proctor, who will attend the European event. "The NARA contingent seems to be particularly busy keeping up with a high business aircraft sales volume that we haven't seen in some time in the U.S., but Europe, the Middle East, and Asian markets are also busy," he added.

NARA brokers historically account for approximately 60 percent of the multibillion dollar used aircraft transactions market, while only comprising three percent of the total brokers. NARA-certified brokers handle a heavy amount of these transactions and have provided valuable counsel to a large portion of used aircraft transactions, some representing buyers and some representing sellers.

Exhibitors at EBACE comprise a who's who of leaders in aircraft transactions. They include NARA-certified brokers and dealers and numerous NARA member service and equipment providers, who also subscribe to NARA's rigorous ethical standards:

AIC Title Service, Aircraft Bluebook, AMSTAT, AvBuyer, Aviation Manuals, Aviation Partners, Banyan Air Service, Bombardier Aerospace, CAE, Clay Lacy Aviation, Cutter Aviation, Dassault Falcon Jet, Duncan Aviation, Exclusive Aviation/Fargo Jet Service, GE Aviation, Guardian Jet, Gulfstream Aerospace, Hatt & Associates, Honeywell Aerospace, Jet Aviation, Jet Linx Aviation, Jetcraft, JETNET, JSSI, Pratt & Whitney Canada, QS Partners, Rolls-Royce North America, Satcom Direct, Skyservice Business Aviation, StandardAero, Textron Aviation and Western Aircraft.

NARA members follow a strict NARA Code of Ethics, and the Broker/Dealer members must pass a rigorous certification process to assure the highest standards when buying and selling previously owned aircraft. Ultimately, they are recognized as NARA Certified Aircraft Brokers and Dealers. NARA Products and Services Members represent a variety of aviation services that operate with the highest professional standards in the industry.

NARA, a professional trade association formed more than 25 years ago, is comprised of selected aircraft sales and brokerage businesses that are NARA Certified and aircraft product/services companies that adhere to the highest professional standards. Promoting the growth and public understanding of the aircraft resale industry, NARA's members abide by an elite 14-point Code of Ethics that provides standards of business conduct regarding aircraft transactions.

NARA is working to standardize transactions through Letters of Intent, requirements and certifications. NARA's initiative is designed to help the organization become the acknowledged leader in developing standards for efficient, effective and ethical business aircraft transactions. NARA Chairman Brian Proctor is president and CEO of Mente Group LLC.

NARA's highly skilled aircraft transaction professionals view a transformed industry as crucial to the success of their clients. More info on NARA is available at www.naraaircraft.com.
